The Total-TilengaProject is led by TotalEnergies and contracted by SINOPEC as the EPCcontractor. Recently, the conference for AGC compressor units’ HAZOP analysis,SIL loop safety level analysis and 60% model review ends with full success.More than 20 experts attended the conference including technical, security and fieldO&M experts from TotalEnergies, technical team from SINOPEC, compressorunits design team from Kerui and the Chairman of the third-party HAZOP.

The block underTotal-Tilenga Project contains 5 reservoirs and 31 cluster well sites (426wells), with an annual output of about 10 million tons of crude oil. As one ofthe participants, Kerui will provide nearly 30 sets of deeply customizedcompressor units along with related technical support and solution services.

After carrying outthe Project, Uganda will transform from the traditional agriculture and animalhusbandry country to East Africa’s important oil producer, which will not onlyrid Uganda of dependence on oil import, but also accelerate Uganda's oil exportprocess, kicking off a good start for Uganda and even the entire East Africa’sefficient development of oil and gas resources.

The compressorunits required by Total-Tilenga Project should not only meet TotalEnergies’specifications, but also overcome the technical problems brought by wellheadcasing gas recovery and gas-liquid mixing transmission. The implementationstandard is high and the technical difficulty is huge. To this end, Kericoordinated teams from both sides to overcome more than 10 technical problems,and finally reached the Project requirements successfully.

At this HAZOP conference, Kerui’s design team conducted in-depth identification, analysis and evaluation of potential risk factors from multiple perspectives such as design principles and process flow, with superb level of professionalism, providing solid guarantee for the safe and stable operation of equipment, which was highly recognized by representatives of all parties.
